Crew

Each ship needs crew on board to support day-to-day operations. To understand a ship's crew requirements, each ship has a list of crew slots. Below is a list of the crew member slots, with their associated workstation and description. Works stations define the location the crew members will largely occupy in their daily routines.

Commander*

Oversees Captains on the bridge of a Commander Class vessels and above.

Captain*

Oversees Pilots and Navigators on the bridge of Large Class vessels and above.

Flight

Navigator*

Responsible for flight assistance, weapons and navigation on X-Small Class vessels and above.

Pilot*

Responsible for flight, weapons and navigation in XX-Small Class vessels, gaining assistance from others in larger ships.

Engineering

Engineering Officer*

Leads Engine Room operations and ship-wide engineering on Medium Class vessels and above.

Medical

Medical Officer*

Leads all medical and surgical operations in Medical Bays on Large Class vessels and above.

Scanning

Science Officer*

Leads all scientific data gathering, analysis, and storage in Data Racks, Scanner Suites, Hydroponics Bays, Arboretums, and Aquariums, and in all other aspects ship-wide on Medium Class vessels and above.

Operator

Weapons Operator

Qualified to operate Fixed and Turret weapons, and to deploy Missiles, and release Bombs on Medium Class vessels and above.

Drone Operator

Qualified to operate Drones on Medium Class vessels and above.

Rig Operator

Qualified to operate Tractor Beam units, Rescue, Repair, Refueling, Salvage, or Mining Rigs, on Medium Class vessels and above as specified.

Hospitality

Chef

Talented and knowledgeable in food preparation in Mess Halls and Restaurants on Large Class vessels and above.

Mixologist

Talented and knowledgeable in beverage preparation in Bars and Nightclubs on Large Class vessels and above.

Entertainer

Talented in live and recorded music and entertainment delivery in Nightclubs on Capital Class vessels and above.

Operations Foreman

Directs all loading, unloading, storage, industrial, landing, take-off, rearming, refueling, or repair operations in Cargo Holds, Cargo Modules, Fuel Modules, Hangar Bays, Landing Pads, Recycling, Mining, and Refinery Facilities on Large Class or specified Salvage, or Mining vessels and above.

Clerical Officer*

Leads all religious, spiritual, and meditation rituals, or ceremonies, in Shrines and Chapels on Capital Class vessels and above.

Cultural Manager

Manages all shipboard facilities containing articles of cultural significance, such as Libraries, and Galleries on Capital Class vessels and above.

Recreation Manager

Manages all scheduling, events and operations related to the Meta-Holodeck on Capital Class vessels and above.

Retail Manager

Manages all pricing, display, stocking, ordering and inventory in Shopping Centers on Capital Class vessels and above.

Hospitality Manager

Manages all customer, guest, and passenger satisfaction needs in Theatres, Guest Suites, and Passenger Modules on Medium Class vessels and above.

Security Officer*

Leads all security oversight, maintenance, and operations in the Ammo Module, Bridge/Cockpit, Armory, Ship’s Brig, Shopping Center, Bar, and Nightclub, on Small Class vessels and above.

Janitor

Talented and knowledgeable in sanitation, waste disposal, and basic maintenance in Restrooms, and Crew Quarters on Large Class vessels and above.
